The Graduating Seniors

Below is a close-up look at the Kelly High School class of 1965. Unfortunately, all pictures are in black and white. Yes, back in the day, the whole, wide world was in black and white. At least, we “children of the sixties” have tried to convince our grandchildren of that fact. We keep reminding them of how they should appreciate the green grass and trees, the colorful flowers, and the blue sky. We tell them how hard it was for our eyes to adjust when the world changed from black and white to color. Our grandchildren do not disagree that we grew up in ancient times and they do think that we all are antiques. In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth   ………………………… !

Then each of us continues his/her story with, “I walked five miles to school in the snow — barefooted”! Unfortunately, we cannot recapture those more innocent days of the sixties. May God Bless and Help Us All!
